A preconception care training programme was conducted for Medical Officer of Health (MOH) staff and marriage registrars of the Kegalle District. The training aimed to strengthen knowledge and skills on preconception care services, improve awareness of maternal and child health promotion, and enhance collaboration between health staff and marriage registration systems to support healthier pregnancies and better family health outcomes.
