  1. Communicable Disease Surveillance, control and Prevention/monitoring, evaluation/ Outbreak prevention and control
  2. Vaccine preventable diseases
  3. Water borne diseases
  4. Zoonotic diseases
  5. Emerging and Re–emerging diseases
  6. Other (Influenza, Chicken Pox)
  7. Co-ordinate and Technical guidance of District EPI (Expanded Programme of Immunization) Programme (liaise with the Central Epidemiology Unit)
  8. Vaccine safety
  9. Immunization clinics (MOH Office, Clinic Centers)
  10. School Immunization clinics (aTd, HPV)
  11. Control and Prevention of Dengue (Liaise with NDCU – Sri Lanka)
  12. Disease Surveillance and Control
  13. Vector Surveillance and Control
  14. Rabies Contral and Prevention (liaise with Ant Rabies Campaign)
  15. Surveillance, control and prevention
  16. Leprosy Control and Prevention (liaise with anti-Leprosy Campaign)
  17. Surveillance, control and prevention
  18. Teaching Training and Technical guidance
